This post covers the design and analysis of a pair of pliers using a prescribed design framework, FRDPARRC.
FRDPARRC is an acronym for:
Design frameworks provide a structured approach to complex and ambiguous questions associated with open ended problems.
To emphasize the benefit of back of the envelop calculations and peer review in informing the design process, I made two iterations of a FRDPARRC table. The first was done prior to conducting any of the guided analysis requested in the assignment. The second is was completed after receiving feedback on my analysis and initial FRDPARRC table from my peer review team.
